About this Unit

In this unit students will be introduced to principles of case management, including funding sources, service delivery models, and evidence-based practice. The unit explores establishment and management of human, financial, and physical resources relevant to practice. Responsibilities for staff and student supervision, mentoring, and professional development, legislative compliance, and impacts of health economics will be explored using scenarios promoting innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. Clinical reasoning and decision making will be applied to diverse contexts using case scenarios.
