Reporting a review

You do not need to email to report a review. Every review has a report control on it, which is the fastest route, and reported reviews are read by a moderator. Email if a review concerns you personally, for example one that names you as teaching staff, and you would rather not use the public control.

Teaching staff

Reviews may name teaching staff where the comment is about their teaching of the unit and is honest opinion or a statement of fact. Comments about someone's private life, appearance, or protected attributes are not permitted and are removed when found or reported.

If a review about you crosses that line, email the address above with the unit code and what the review says. It will be read by a person.

Corrections to unit information

Unit details come from Curtin's published data and can fall out of date. If a unit's prerequisites, credit points, or teaching pattern are wrong here, send the unit code and what it should say. If a unit is missing entirely, there is a request form on the catalogue page.

Privacy requests

You can see and update your email address, edit or delete any review you have written, and close your account from your account page. For anything the site does not let you do yourself, such as asking for a copy of the personal information held about you or asking for something to be corrected, email the address above. The privacy policy sets out what is held and your rights in full, including how to escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with the response.

Student societies and clubs

If you run a Curtin club or society and want to point your members here, or want a unit list for your discipline surfaced better, get in touch. This site is more useful to a course the more of that course's students have written about it.
