About this Unit

This unit develops students’ understanding of World Health Organisation social determinants of health and current Australian national health priorities in the context of evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Specifically, social determinants of health and Australian national health priorities will be integrated through the three pillars of leadership, evidence-based practice and cultural security. To facilitate critical thinking skills and collaborative behaviours, students will engage in a participatory action research project.
