About this Unit

In this unit, students will undertake speech pathology clinical practice to develop competency according to Speech Pathology Australia Competency-Based Occupational Standards (CBOS). This unit will facilitate the development of skills in the management of paediatric or adult clients in community, health and/or education settings. Students will be expected to demonstrate competency relative to their stage of their fieldwork progression: They will demonstrate approaching intermediate competency at the end of their first placement and intermediate competency at the end of their second placement.
