What is GEOT2000 about?

This unit introduces principles of geomechanics and basic geotechnical engineering. Students will learn about the physical properties, composition and classification of soils. Students will also develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts of soil compaction, stresses in soils and seepage in soil masses.
