About this Unit

This unit offers an introduction to person-centeredness, foundational knowledge, skills and attitudes required to be an occupational therapist. Students are introduced to the occupational therapy process and understanding of occupational analysis, interviewing, grading and adapting. The unit guides students through the application of professional behaviours, interpersonal communication and ethics through a variety of practical and fieldwork experiences.
