About this Unit

This unit explores the social construction of health, illness and disability and applies person-centred approaches to people with disabilities as occupational beings. Students engage in studying the impact of personal and societal values on outcomes for people with disabilities, the impact of service systems on people and contemporary service approaches for people with disabilities.
