About this Unit

In this unit you will explore cultural dimensions and you will investigate the concept of cultural bias. You explore the role of an oral health therapist in a global context. You will further develop your own cultural competence through an elective regional, interstate, or overseas placement. You might participate in a virtual cross cultural learning activity and acquire a transcultural perspective. You develop your own social responsibility project to improve access to preventive oral care.
