About this Unit

This capstone unit will provide students opportunities to create, implement and evaluate suitable exercise interventions for individuals and groups. A focus on general prescription principles for health, fitness and maintenance goals, as well as athletic performance, will be addressed. Special considerations for prescribing exercise in paediatric populations, females and older adults will also be emphasised. Active participation in the unit will allow students to foster a positive personal health and fitness ethos, while preparing students for their practical placements.
