About this Unit

This unit aims to develop practical competencies in effective and safe exercise instruction for apparently healthy individuals and groups. Using hands-on, practical and authentic learning activities, students will have the opportunity to design, deliver, modify and monitor basic exercise interventions targeting a variety of exercise domains. A client-centred focus will be reinforced with a case-based approach to learning.
