About this Unit

This unit builds upon your knowledge of human physiology, biochemistry and nutrition principles to develop your understanding of health and chronic disease. You will also be applying your statistical analysis knowledge to answer research questions based on the data that you collect during your labs. Throughout this unit you will integrate these fields of learning to develop an understanding of how nutrition may prevent or accelerate the progression of chronic disease.
