About this Unit

Nutrition and exercise physiology are naturally linked. This unit will build on previously learnt concepts to explore aspects of nutrition and physiology that facilitate exercise performance. Through a combination of lectures and practical classes, students will develop an understanding and appreciation for the human physiological response and adaptation to physical activity, in the context of physical performance, environmental stress, energy balance and health.
