About this Unit

This unit will ask the emerging nutritionist to explore effective nutrition communication methods within the current media and societal landscape. Student nutritionists will consolidate their discipline knowledge and sociocultural awareness to develop and deliver tailored communication for a range of audiences and channels. Skills relating to the translation of nutrition science and evidence evaluation will be further developed. This unit will also explore themes relating to the communication of nutrition science within a framework of professional identity, leadership and scope of practice.
