About this Unit

Psychosocial factors influencing individual and family responses to complex health conditions. Students develop an advanced understanding of sociocultural factors influencing social support and structure and function of the individual and family with critically unstable health.. Person-centred psychosocial interventions to empower wellbeing and adaptive responses to complex health concerns. Communication strategies and interventions applied by paramedics or nurses to empower well-being. Transdisciplinary communication in complex health care settings.
