About this Unit

This unit introduces students to specifically legal research goals, methodologies and databases which are used to find, update and critically analyse the primary and secondary sources of law used in a problem solving context. Students will practice law specific forms of effective written communication including client files, memoranda of advice, solicitor's letters and written instructions. Students are also introduced to legal referencing standards.
