About this Unit

This unit builds on first and second-level units with new knowledge and critical thinking skills relating to nutrition assessment and intervention design and the application of these concepts across a diverse range of groups and settings. Students will develop skills to select relevant data to collect and identify the associated methods, techniques and standards to use. Students will process, analyse and interpret nutrition assessment data to identify and prioritise nutrition problems and the associated nutrition-related causes. Students will develop skills in the design of nutrition interventions to address nutrition problems and associated causes, and the selection of appropriate criteria for evaluation and monitoring of outcomes.
