About this Unit

This unit will cover survival models, lifetime distributions, statistical models of transfer between multiple states, binomial and Poisson models of mortality, maximum likelihood estimation of transition intensities, age-specific transition intensities, statistical tests, standard life tables, and graduation of crude estimates.
