About this Unit

This unit introduces the foundation of simulation techniques and their applications in a chosen area. The unit introduces the theoretical foundation of simulation with a focus on its scope and limitation. Several tools and techniques for designing and implementing simulation procedures on various computing platforms will also be introduced. Students will then have the opportunity to choose an area of focus where they can apply the principles of simulation on solving discipline specific problems.
