About this Unit

This is the third in the suite of professional experience units that includes a practical component (20 days of placement in a school). The unit will allow you to extend your developing knowledge and skills in the classroom by considering advanced assessment practices, managing challenging behaviour and extending existing classroom skills, both through a theoretical and a practical lens. The professional experience practical assessment assesses your ability to further refine your knowledge and skills required for working in classrooms. All required clearances to work with children must be obtained and valid, and all other preparation requirements met. All assessment components must be passed in order to pass the unit.
