About this Unit

The aim of this unit to continue building on the principles of financial economics, particularly for determining provisions. Provisioning techniques such as ruin theory and run-off triangles are explored. Practical, hands-on modelling experience is developed through the use of EXCEL spreadsheets (students are assumed to have functional EXCEL skills prior to commencement of this unit).
