Super boring, easy unit. Nothing is actually taught and it is basically just ATAR English disguised as a referencing unit
An easy unit with an okay introduction to the academic writing style. The covered content is important and definitely helps in becoming a more mature professional. The unit takes a core focus on First Nations Peoples and history in Australia. The writing assessments are not that difficult. It has marked attendance tutorials, which were pretty grim - not because the content was bad - but because everyone there had such a poor attitude and didn't want to be there which made the group-work components hard (trying to squeeze words from a group of six people that just sat there and didn't do any work). Overall, an easy unit and worth the time to improve writing style and learn more about First Nations Peoples. Not a heap of content covered. Just take the unit with a positive mindset because a negative one will just make the unit even worse for you.
The most boring unit I have ever taken. 0 value. All writing/essay based with mandatory class attendance and participation. They also make you write a reflection about how amazing the unit was. 10/10 would not take again.
