About this Unit

This unit is an intermediate level unit suitable for students who have successfully completed Korean Intermediate 1 (KORE2000) or who have an equivalent level of competency. Taught through interactive and self-directed engaging learning approaches and materials, this unit will enable students to progress their Korean language competency and cultural literacy in various aspects of Korean society and culture to prepare them to live and work in Korea. On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to both read and produce intermediate level authentic materials in Korean and gain further confidence in using Korean language in everyday and workplace settings. Upon successful completion of Korean Intermediate 3 and 4 students will reach a level of competency equivalent to TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) scale of proficiency upper 2/ lower 3.
