About this Unit

In this unit, students will refine their skills in research and academic writing. The three assessments outlined, encourage students to apply design theories in analysing specific topics. The unit focuses on semiotics, material culture and icons of popular culture. This is relevant to all visual communicators, and was specifically constructed for those studying creative advertising, graphic design, illustration and photography.
