About this Unit

The design process is expanded in this unit in response to integrate smart technology, current trends, fashions, fads, enhance human wellbeing and socio group niche demands. Research requirements are to identify and explore the work of practitioners of excellence and design market drivers within a defined area, e.g. inclusive design, design for elders, sustainable design, and wearable technology. The student's design proposal will relate to research findings and utilise creative techniques including combination, rearrangement, improvement and invention.
