About this Unit

This unit examines the evolutionary and adaptive response of organisms to common environmental challenges that act as major selective pressures. Comparative behavioural and physiological responses to these challenges will be studied for a range of taxa in differing ecosystems. The unit will examine the interrelationship between structure and function to explore a range of biological mechanisms, processes and responses.
