About this Unit

There are two main sections in this unit. In the first section, infrastructure and Ad Hoc wireless network is explained including Wireless Local Area Network (LAN) setup & troubleshooting, IEEE 802.11 technologies, Radio Technologies, Wireless LAN applications and resilient products. Also by completing the first section student will learn how to design, install, configure and troubleshoot Wireless LAN using the current technologies as part of laboratory activity.The second section focuses on the rapidly developing “Internet of Things” (IoT). This covers the protocol and technologies used in IoT system design and explains the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN).
