About this Unit

This unit will impart skills in independent manipulation of techniques in chemical synthesis, analysis, and computation. Students will solve a problem, first using practical techniques of relevance to the task, and then interpreting the outcome using computational techniques. To achieve these goals, students will be inducted into research laboratory practices by applying electronic notekeeping and appropriate occupational health and safety procedures.
