What is CHEM2005 about?

This unit provides students with an opportunity to develop their knowledge of and practice of analytical chemistry. It will provide an introduction to the fundamental principles of quantitative analysis, chemical sensing, and instrumental analysis. Issues concerning sampling and sample preparation, quality assurance, quality control, method validation, and ethics for chemical analyses in both local and international contexts will also be addressed.
