About this Unit

This is a specialist media unit that introduces students to the terminology and workings of the role of media within the advertising context. This includes the ability to compute media related constructs and use these in developing the media component of an advertising campaign. Significant emphasis is placed on acquiring the skills necessary to devise a carefully targeted and cost-effective media plan. As part of this unit, students have the opportunity to pitch/sell their media solutions in a simulated professional context.
