About this Unit

This unit introduces students to the key concepts and debates regarding the importance of the military factor in contemporary International Relations; the fundamentals of strategic behaviour of states as international actors; and foundations of contemporary strategy. Students will also familiarise themselves with basic principles of geographical dimensions of strategy, and current and emerging challenges of contemporary strategy.
