About this Unit

In this unit, students will undertake speech pathology clinical practice to develop and demonstrate competency according to Speech Pathology Australia Competency-Based Occupational Standards (CBOS). This unit will facilitate the development of skills in the management of paediatric or adult clients across a range of practice areas. Students will be expected to demonstrate competency relative to their stage of their fieldwork progression: They will demonstrate approaching entry level competency at the end of their penultimate placement and at entry level competency at the end of their final placement.
