About this Unit

Integration of terrestrial surveying techniques, equipment and processing software to provide accurate mapping information of structures on the earth’s surface. Principles, operational aspects and applications of laser scanning. In-field calibration of total stations and levels as well as theory of calibration and adjustment of terrestrial laser scanners. Observational and equipment requirements to meet various classes of SP1 accuracies for control networks. Introductory least-squares adjustment of control networks. Trigonometric heighting.
