About this Unit

This unit is an introduction into Photogrammetry and will cover not only the fundamentals of photogrammetry, the photogrammetric workflow and its products but also will provide information about sensor technology and the current trends in the Spatial Science profession. The unit will focus on different application areas such as close range photogrammetry, drone photogrammetry and satellite photogrammetry. The learned theory in the lectures is reinforced during tutorials and practical laboratories. Students will plan a photogrammetric project, capture and process images and deliver basic products.
