About this Unit

This is an applied research unit, structured around a real-life client who challenges students to develop solutions to a contemporary communication challenge. Throughout the semester learners explore different qualitative and quantitative research methods, critically examine ‘best practice’ examples and are exposed to the latest developments and standards in measurement and evaluation, which will enable them to demonstrate the communication function’s return on investment (or return on expectations) to key decision-makers.
