This unit explores the various subspecialties of public relations practice: For example, topics may cover government relations, agencies, internal relations, sports, travel, investor relations, health communication and science communication and other newly emerging trends, themes and areas of practice. The unit is a meld of theory and practically applicable information offered through case studies and hands-on workshop activities. Using a strategic issues management approach, learners can choose among issue interest areas to analyse and draw upon.
