About this Unit

This unit is designed as an adjunct to the Honours Research Dissertation. The unit is intended for scientists and engineers interested in applying high performance computing in the solution of problems in their field. The following topics are considered: Architecture and parallel programming, Message Passing Interface (MPI), Serial Optimisation, OpenMP programming, GPU acceleration, large scale I/O, Python for HPC, Workflows and Containers.
