About this Unit

This unit is designed to leverage off the knowledge base acquired in REHT2002 Biomechanics to enable acquisition, analysis and interpretation of kinematic, kinetic and electromyographic data, to measure movement both optimal and pathological. The instrumentation and methodologies to acquire these data will allow a number of specific skilled movements to be analysed and the pathomechanics of injury detected. The strengths and weaknesses and limitations of the methodologies will be evaluated.
