About this Unit

Wicked Challenges are complex and complicated real-world problems that impact people on the global, community, and individual scale. This unit aims to immerse you in a multi-disciplinary project-based learning journey of discovery and collaborative engagement with peers and experts from industry and academia, to give you a distinct Capstone level transformative learning experience at big-issue problem solving. This unit is co-created with academic and industry experts from relevant disciplines based on the selected UNSDG and focus areas for the study period. This unit is aligned with our Faculty Learning For Tomorrow Strategy in industry connectivity, practice-based learning that embeds ethically responsible, sustainability, and societal perspectives in curriculum. You will be challenged by alternative perspectives and conflicting solutions to problems that will prepare you for the future of work.
