About this Unit

This unit examines components and activities of operations management within the context of logistics and supply chain management. This unit involves concept application and deployment of analytical techniques specific to improving operations management. These concepts and techniques aim to support enhanced managerial response to market opportunities. It further aims to manage supply chain risks and enhance sustainability and resilience. This is achieved through problem identification, modelling and optimisation to creatively support management decisions and to propose solutions to operations management problems.
