About this Unit

This project-based unit offers an experiential work integrated learning opportunity, where students work on an industry connected business innovation project related to sustainable development and social impact. Students will enhance their critical employability skills using creative and responsible decision making while working collaboratively with a team and industry professionals. The unit explores the intersection of business, innovation, and sustainability to address a real-world problem in a hands-on learning experience. The aim is to create solutions that benefit the environment, society, and the economy, working collectively with a team. This experience will foster communication, collaboration and project management skills. These capabilities are vital for graduates entering a workforce where a sustainability and social impact mindset, together with ethical considerations and practices are essential for business, governments, and society.
