About this Unit

This unit examines the theory, principles and practices associated with adult learning in the workplace. It focuses on adult learning theory, learning needs analyses; evaluating learning and development activities and their impacts, and designing and delivering training and development workshops. There is also an emphasis on the challenges presented by the changing nature of work and careers in the contemporary job marketplace. Technological developments in the arena of Human Resources Development are also explored.
