About this Unit

This unit will focus on a specialised area of law, which will vary from year to year. The specific materials that will be covered depend upon the subject of the special topic(s) and the academic undertaking the teaching of the unit. Students will be required to undertake intensive reading and research on the specialised topic(s), and will develop an in depth knowledge and critical thinking skills with respect to the subject matter of the topic(s). The unit develops students capacities to communicate through oral and written means as appropriate to working within a complex field of law.
