About this Unit

This unit examines a wide range of procedural aspects of civil litigation, including the adversarial system and alternative methods of dispute resolution, the jurisdiction of courts, transfer and cross-vesting, the commencement of proceedings, limitation of actions, parties, representative proceedings, service, pleading, disclosure, court applications, subpoenas, ending proceedings early, appeals, costs and enforcement.
