About this Unit

This unit introduces you to narrative nonfiction, including its role and significance in telling true stories and reflecting contemporary issues. You will explore, analyse, and experiment with a range of written narrative nonfiction forms including feature articles and flash nonfiction. The aim of the unit is to provide you with a critical understanding of the influence of narrative nonfiction in contemporary life, to provide practice in writing in a variety of forms, and to enhance awareness of changing genres, styles, and issues.
