About this Unit

Under the supervision of academic staff and media industry professionals, students will be introduced to the technical and stylistic elements of voice and on-camera presentation for radio and television news. Weekly instruction and practical sessions in a TV and radio studio, as well as field reporting exercises and the opportunity to shadow professional media presenters, equip students to make a successful transition from university to working broadcast newsroom environments.
