About this Unit

This unit is a continuation of JAPN3000 to increase students’ skills in intercultural communication, at level N3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Reading materials include authentic texts on Japanese culture containing complex sentence structures, highly idiomatic expressions and an additional 100 Japanese characters (Kanji). Interactive tutorials include practice on how to make predictions, give compliments, and engage in a debate or discussion. Honorific forms are also introduced.
