About this Unit

In this unit, students will consider a range of organisational issues in the implementation of Information Systems (IS) including success factors, business process redesign, user resistance, IS evaluation, benefits realisation, occupational health and safety (OH&S) and contractual requirements. The unit also examines project management requirements including system and acceptance testing, software and hardware installation, data uptake/conversion, system introduction strategies, user training and user support.
