About this Unit

An examination of general legal principles with reference to the Mental Health Act of WA in relation to Indigenous rights and culturally responsible mental health care delivery. Students will examine: ethical practice in relation to ways of working in an Indigenous context as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team; and, ethical and professional practice in the context of human rights, social justice and equity as part of comprehensive mental healthcare delivery.
