About this Unit

This unit further develops counselling skills in relation to child and adolescent, family and group dynamics. Students will explore the models and theoretical approaches to working with group processes. Attention is given to the social context of counselling dynamics within cultural contexts, and the ethical responsibilities of working within family and community systems. Students are encouraged to identify and appraise their own counselling style, limitations and biases.
