About this Unit

Introduction to cultural and spiritual expressions of health and illness in Indigenous and non-Indigenous contexts. Conceptual understanding of and cultural sensitivity to different methods of healing practices in Indigenous communities inclusive of social and emotional wellbeing. Use of various bush medicines and ways of working with Indigenous healers in non-Indigenous health systems.
